So today we hit the rehearsal studio with Squiz, let me just begin to say how fucking badass it was. Started to put some polish on a few of our songs and hopefully in the next couple of weeks we will have new recordings with drums!

Thanks to all the drummers that we played with over the past couple of weeks. I hope you guys find what you’re looking for.

Now we have a sick drummer, were on the lookout for a bass player. Guy, Gal, Tall, Short, Skinny, Fat, who gives a shit as long as they can play! If you know anyone, send em our way.

Did some jamming with Denny last night, dude has some serious chops, both on guitar and drums. Good luck to Silence the Weak, they’ve got some serious talent.

Thanks for hanging with us Denny, it was a blast man, always is… Btw whats with your fiance`s double-bass? she’s sic.

We’re still on the look out for a full time drummer and bass player. have sent about 25 e-mails to different people, no solid bites yet. Have a couple more im waiting to hear back on.

I went ahead and updated a couple of our newer songs we’ve written. We’ve been having a lot of fun with Ugly and Waiting. Reads the same was actually our second or third song we wrote, haven’t put it up, we’re not happy with a few parts. Really need a full band to bring out everything we want in these songs, but we consider them shells of intent, something to lock in an idea and a feel that we can explore and expand when we have the rest of the band.

Ugly is a fun as hell live song, I’ve since changed the bridge into the chorus and we’ve made it much tighter, we will probably re-record Ugly and Waiting this weekend if we don’t have any people to try out.

Still no luck so far on drummer/bassist yet, but im optimistic.

Answered probably 25 craigslist/backpage ads.

Have gotten some nice feedback, but no bites yet.

Was really hoping to try some people out this weekend, but looks like we’ll spend the time looking and recording a few of our new songs. have 4-5 almost finished (what we can do without drums and bass)

So unfortunately Crystal R and Tommy H of Abandoned Theory passed on Coldest Lonely. Which is cool, we wish them good luck in finding what they are looking for. I can’t wait till we can see them play a live show- they have a great “rock” look to them and great gear and great chops.

So Coldest Lonely is back on the lookout for a Drummer and a Bassist.

Coldest Lonely is seeking a Bassist and Drummer. We are looking for a couple of guys/gals who can get down to what Coldest Lonely is about. We have a website with a couple rough recordings of a few songs www.Coldestlonely.com . Please check it out. Thats how we sound, and thats the type of music we’re interested in making.

We (Guitarist and Vocalist) are eagerly and aggressively pursuing our dreams, which is to play some shows, build up a local fan base and see where the music takes us. We have no delusions of grandeur, nor are we particularly interested in egos. Just want to work hard, bust our ass, write some kick ass original music and push ourselves.

Dave P. & Leon B – Coldest Lonely

Got to play out of my own stack for the first time in a while. Sounded pretty thick, i liked it a lot. The clean sounded a bit strange, but i didn’t have any delay on, so that might help it out.

Jammed with Crystal R and Tommy H yesterday for about an hour. Looked promising. Waiting to hear back from them.

Dave and i have set a goal to be playin a live show by or on 12-31-09, even if we just have to borrow a drummer and bassist for the night from friend’s bands.

This week im planning on re-recording a couple of our newer songs so we can toss them up here. You’re gonna like em, i promise

Added a new Flash MP3 player. I might move it to a player that will pop out, so people can navigate the pages, but so far so good. I need to get some more graphics and images done for the site so i can customize some more.

Also added a couple of pictures, will add more sometime soon. Hopefully less of the “in-your-face” pictures (at least of me) and more pictures of performances and shows etc.

Also getting excited about Sunday, we had a really kick ass reply to our craigslist ad from Crystal R and Tommy H from a local band, Abandoned Theory. We’re gonna go jam with them and see if don’t all click, If things go well, here’s hoping to playing some shows in the immediate future.

We’ve been getting a lot of really positive feedback from friends and strangers so i definitely want to say thank you for the support. Keep this page bookmarked and check it frequently, Dave and I are songwriting machines and we’ll keep everyone well informed of whats new in the world of Coldest Lonely.
